On the return trip, it departs from Rajshahi at 07:40 AM and travels the same route at the same time. At 01:30 PM the Silk City Express arrives at the Kamlapur Station, Dhaka.

The intercity train runs Dhaka-Rajshahi every day except Sunday. This is the off day.
